Air Borealis has been experiencing a 7% rate of no-shows on advance reservations. In a test project that requires passengers to confirm reservations, it is found that among 250 randomly selected advance reservations, there are 4 no-shows. Assuming that the confirmation requirement has no effect so the 7% rate applies, estimate the probability of 4 or fewer no-shows among 250 randomly selected reservations. Based on that result, does it appear that the confirmation requirement is effective?
